Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Mary Esther, Florida. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal practice. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and has been serving the Emerald Coast since 1986, providing wellness, advanced medical, surgical, and urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive patient care from diagnosis through treatment, including wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. Surgical responsibilities can include anesthesia, spays and neuters, mass removals, and dental surgery. The role also involves building long-term relationships with clients, clearly communicating clinical findings and treatment plans, and working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered.

Practice Details
The hospital offers wellness and preventive care, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. Clinicians have access to internal specialty consultations and additional resources for support with complex cases, alongside opportunities for continued growth and education. The hospital has a 4.8-star Google rating and emphasizes comprehensive, modern veterinary medicine and diagnostic skill development. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
