Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal and feline clinic. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs, cats, and other small animals and is looking for a veterinarian who can support its growing caseload while contributing to a professional, friendly, and service-focused environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed on weekends. This is a full-time position with flexibility in scheduling. Client needs and workload may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week, as well as weekend, evening, or holiday availability when needed.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing general medicine, surgery, and preventative care while contributing to a supportive, team-oriented culture. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality clinical care, performing surgical and dental procedures, and maintaining strong communication with clients and colleagues. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship.

Practice Details
The practice offers preventative care, surgery, high-speed dentistry, cold laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, and digital full-body radiology. Additional services include wellness and senior care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, dental care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, end-of-life care, and nail trims. The facility features an in-house laboratory capable of running a wide range of diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal tests with rapid results, alongside digital radiography and a full surgical suite. The clinic maintains a focus on responsible pet ownership, comprehensive medical and dental care, preventive health education, and a family-friendly culture.

Team
The hospital is staffed by two DVMs supported by a professional and courteous team committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
