Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The AAHA Accredited hospital provides high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice advanced small animal medicine in a supportive environment with a strong focus on patient care and urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for companion animals across a varied small animal and urgent care caseload. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, communicating effectively with clients, and delivering preventative healthcare. The role also includes performing routine surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, dental surgery, and cystotomy procedures. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the wider veterinary team, contribute to high clinical standards, and help build lasting relationships with clients while practicing high-quality medicine. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA Accredited and is open Monday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Tuesday from 8:30am to 6:30pm, Wednesday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Thursday and Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Services include wellness and preventative care, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, laser therapy, pain management, behaviour therapy, anesthesia, spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, mass removal, dental surgery, and cystotomy. The practice focuses on advanced small animal medicine and urgent care while providing access to internal specialty consultations to support the management of more complex cases in a collaborative clinical environment.

Team
You will join a team of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The practice promotes a collaborative and supportive culture where teamwork, communication, and continuous professional development are encouraged, allowing veterinarians to deliver exceptional patient care while continuing to develop their clinical skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
