Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to join a collaborative clinical team dedicated to delivering high-quality companion animal medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing preventative healthcare tailored to each patient’s needs. The role includes performing routine and advanced surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgery, and mass removals, as well as routine and complex dental procedures including dental examinations, interpretation of dental radiographs, extractions, and oral surgery. The successful candidate will also manage hospitalized patients, participate in clinical rounds, communicate effectively with referral hospitals when required, and support the ongoing development of the wider clinical team. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with ultrasound, digital diagnostic radiography, and heated hydraulic surgery tables to support advanced patient care. Services offered include routine wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, prescriptions, illness and injury treatment, diagnostic imaging, surgery, and dentistry. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
