Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care through physical examinations, disease diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventative healthcare. Responsibilities include developing complete diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic results, maintaining detailed medical records, educating clients, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to ensure continuity of care. Clinical responsibilities include preventative medicine, routine wellness care, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, day hospitalization management, surgery, dentistry, and patient imaging. Surgical duties include routine and advanced procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals. Dental responsibilities include full oral examinations, evaluation of dental radiographs, simple and complex extractions, and oral surgical procedures. The role also involves participating in medical rounds, supporting team education, and contributing to a culture of exceptional patient care and teamwork. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service small animal practice committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care through preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and wellness services. Equipment includes ultrasound capabilities, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography. Services offered include routine wellness care, vaccinations, microchipping, illness and injury treatment, diagnostic imaging, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, surgery, dentistry, and day hospitalization services. The practice emphasizes a problem-based medical approach, thorough diagnostics, continuity of patient care, and exceptional client service. Veterinarians are supported by experienced medical leadership and a highly trained paraprofessional team with expertise in areas including dentistry and nutrition. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
