Our client is a privately owned small animal hospital seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join their established and community-focused team. Serving the area since 1975, this practice has built a strong reputation for continuity of care and compassionate service. The hospital primarily treats dogs and cats but is open to expanding its caseload based on a doctor’s areas of interest. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on weekends. Full-time veterinarians typically work four weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekend shifts required. Part-time opportunities are also available with a minimum of two days per week. The schedule allows for flexibility to accommodate work-life balance, with appointment times set at 15 minutes and extended slots available for new graduates or complex cases. Mornings generally begin with surgery, followed by appointments throughout the remainder of the day.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and general medical care. The position offers a balance of medical and surgical work, with the opportunity to develop in areas of interest such as orthopedics or platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, though new graduates are welcome and will receive structured support. The hospital places great emphasis on patient care and client communication, ensuring every visit is handled with professionalism and compassion.

Practice Details
This full-service hospital is well-equipped with CO2 and cold therapy lasers, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, and a dental drill. The facility features three exam rooms and a dedicated surgical suite. The practice provides a wide range of services including wellness exams, spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, microchipping, illness and injury care, hospitalization, radiology, dental care, orthopedic surgery, and an online pharmacy. The hospital’s culture emphasizes client education, continuity of care, and personalized service for every patient.

Team
The practice is home to one veterinarian and a skilled team of six support staff who work closely together to ensure efficient operations and outstanding patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
