Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice, providing care to a diverse companion animal caseload within a collaborative, multi-doctor environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering high-quality care across a small animal caseload, including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and end-of-life services. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, performing surgical procedures, prescribing treatments, and communicating clearly with clients to build strong relationships. The position supports both experienced veterinarians and those looking to develop their skills, with opportunities to explore interests in surgery, dentistry, or medicine within a collaborative team environment.

This is a full-service small animal hospital offering advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities. Equipment and services include diagnostics, laboratory services, surgical tools, dental care, microchipping, pharmacy services, and urgent care. The hospital provides wellness care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, end-of-life care, laboratory services, nutrition guidance, and urgent care within a respected, community-focused environment. The practice has been serving the local community for over 34 years, with a loyal client base and a strong emphasis on high-quality, compassionate care, supported by a collaborative culture and commitment to continued education.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by an experienced support team, fostering a collaborative, mentoring-focused environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
