Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital located in Marina Del Rey seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their thriving practice. Voted “Best Veterinary Clinic” in the Westside for 10 consecutive years, the hospital is recognized for its high-quality veterinary medicine and warm, client-focused care for dogs and cats.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a full-time position with weekend coverage shared among the team. There are no after-hours requirements, offering a balanced schedule and supportive work-life environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, urgent care, senior pet services, and end-of-life support. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, and ophthalmology to ensure patients receive the highest level of care. Access to advanced diagnostics and surgical services supports you in creating effective and tailored treatment plans. This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian dedicated to delivering compassionate, client-centered care while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a wide range of services including preventive care, dentistry, urgent and emergency care, hospice and end-of-life support, cold laser therapy, and pet travel certificates. Specialty services such as internal medicine, cardiology, and ophthalmology are also available. Equipped with a modern in-house diagnostics lab, the hospital features digital radiography, abdominal ultrasound, ECG/EKG, digital dental X-rays, bloodwork, and urinalysis, ensuring accurate and efficient diagnoses. Since its opening in 2008, the hospital has earned a strong reputation for trusted and compassionate care.

Team
The practice includes 4 DVMs supported by a skilled and caring team of technicians and support staff. The hospital fosters a collaborative and client-focused culture, providing a supportive environment for both professional growth and delivering outstanding care to pets and their families.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
