Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital located in Marina Del Rey seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. Voted “Best Veterinary Clinic” in the Westside for 10 consecutive years, the practice is well-known for delivering exceptional veterinary medicine alongside friendly, compassionate service for dogs and cats.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Associate Veterinarian role is open to either part-time or full-time schedules, with weekend coverage shared among the team. There are no after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care for cats and dogs, including routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, urgent care, senior pet services, and end-of-life care. The role also involves supporting specialty services in areas such as internal medicine, cardiology, and ophthalmology. Advanced diagnostics and surgical services are available to support accurate and effective treatment plans. This position is open to experienced veterinarians dedicated to upholding the hospital’s reputation for quality, integrity, and compassionate care.

Practice Details
This full-service veterinary hospital offers a wide range of healthcare services, including preventive care, dental care, urgent and emergency services, hospice and end-of-life care, cold laser therapy, and pet travel certificates. Specialty services in internal medicine, cardiology, and ophthalmology further enhance the level of care provided. With an in-house diagnostic lab, the hospital is equipped with advanced technology such as digital radiography, abdominal ultrasound, ECG/EKG, digital dental X-rays, bloodwork, and urinalysis. Since opening in 2008, the hospital has built a strong reputation for trusted and compassionate care.

Team
The practice is home to 4 DVMs supported by an experienced and compassionate team of technicians and support staff. The environment is collaborative and client-focused, ensuring both the highest standards of veterinary medicine and a welcoming experience for pets and their families.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
