Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care across a broad range of small animal cases, including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, and delivering preventative care. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, communicating effectively with pet owners, and collaborating with the wider team to ensure high standards of patient care. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is a well-established small animal practice focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate care within a supportive and collaborative environment. The hospital offers a full spectrum of services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. The practice emphasizes diagnostic excellence and individualized treatment plans, supported by access to internal specialty consultations and a broader network of medical resources. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. The culture prioritizes professional growth, mentorship, and a strong connection with clients.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
