Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a small animal practice that treats cats, dogs, and the occasional exotic or pocket pet.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a schedule of four weekdays. The hospital is closed on weekends, and specific doctor hours are open to discussion. The current hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Saturdays and Sundays. New doctor hours can be suggested to align with this full-time, weekday-only role.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves full general practice responsibilities. The position is suited for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This full-service hospital is fully equipped with the latest technology, including digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, cold laser therapy, a full dental suite, and a setup for exotic dental procedures. The facility features Cardell monitors at every anesthesia station to ensure high-level patient care, as well as an in-house lab with CBC, Chemistry, SNAP tests, and in-house T4 diagnostics. The hospital is AAHA-accredited, certified Fear Free, and declared Cat Friendly.

Team
The hospital is staffed by two DVMs and supported by a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
