Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that primarily serves small animals and occasionally provides care for pocket pets. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
This full-time position ideally follows a schedule of four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:45 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:45 pm. It is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for full general practice duties, supporting a broad range of clinical areas.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, cold laser therapy, butterfly ultrasound, CryoPen, Tonopen, and uses Cornerstone for electronic medical records. Facilities include both boarding and grooming. Services offered include annual checkups, dental care, internal medicine, geriatric care, cold laser therapy, and emergency services.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs and six support staff, working within a collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
