Our client is a hospital hiring for a part-time Associate Veterinarian within an AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality care to dogs and cats and is known for its strong focus on medical excellence and compassionate service. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for building relationships with clients and managing patient care from diagnosis through treatment, while delivering high standards of medicine. Responsibilities include performing examinations, developing treatment plans, and providing clear client communication and education. The role also involves collaborating closely with a paraprofessional team to maintain a positive and efficient workflow. This opportunity offers a consistent, predictable schedule with built-in flexibility. The role includes a Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and Saturday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) foundation, with the option to add evening-only shifts during the week based on your availability and interest. This structure is ideal for veterinarians seeking part-time hours with the ability to tailor their schedule while maintaining consistency and work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 7:00pm, Wednesday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is AAHA-accredited and provides a wide range of services including wellness and preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, pain management, and hospice and euthanasia services. The hospital emphasizes high clinical standards, modern diagnostic approaches, and access to internal consultations and educational resources, supporting a collaborative and progressive clinical environment.

Team
The team consists of 4 veterinarians supported by a collaborative and experienced support staff. The culture is team-oriented and supportive, with a strong emphasis on communication, professional development, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
