Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an established small animal veterinary practice that is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats and dogs and has been serving the community since 1991, providing trusted veterinary care within a collaborative clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities within a supportive and team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will work across a varied caseload while delivering high-quality patient care and client communication. Hours will be determined. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 7:30am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, extensive in-house laboratory equipment, and surgical and therapeutic laser technology. The practice also features an in-house pharmacy and in-office surgical suite. In 2025, the hospital completed a major renovation, further enhancing the clinical environment and facilities available to both staff and patients. The hospital is Feline Friendly Certified and Fear Free Certified Professional accredited. Services offered include laser therapy alongside a full scope of general practice services.

Team
The practice is home to a team of four veterinarians supported by eight support staff members. Together, they create a collaborative and supportive clinical environment focused on delivering exceptional veterinary care to both clients and patients.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
