Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking a Part Time Associate Veterinarian to join its two-doctor team. The practice provides care for dogs and cats, offering high-quality, individualized medicine within a well-equipped facility. This opportunity is open to veterinarians at any stage of their career, providing a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Veterinarians benefit from no weekend hours and flexibility within their schedules, promoting a strong work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. The role also involves urgent care, nutrition and general health counseling, end-of-life care, and close communication with pet owners to ensure the best outcomes. Candidates should be personable and team-oriented, with a genuine passion for veterinary medicine. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, supported by a collaborative and progressive environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, in-house laboratory services, surgical facilities, an in-clinic pharmacy, and diagnostic capabilities. Services include wellness care, dental care, surgical procedures, urgent care, diagnostics, microchipping, nutrition, end-of-life care, and cat boarding, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient health.
Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by dedicated staff, working in a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and the delivery of high-quality medical care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
