Introduction
This AAHA accredited, Cat Friendly small animal hospital in Loveland, Colorado is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established six-doctor team. The practice provides comprehensive care throughout every stage of a pet’s life, with an emphasis on high-quality, individualised medicine and long-term relationships with clients and their pets. With an experienced veterinary team, strong clinical support and a four-day working week, the opportunity provides a collaborative environment for a veterinarian looking to continue developing their skills while maintaining a sustainable schedule.

Working Hours / Rota
The full-time position is structured around a four-day working week. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm, with Sundays closed. The four-day schedule provides an additional day away from the hospital each week while allowing doctors to work within an established and busy general practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical care for small animal patients from puppy and kitten appointments through to senior care. You’ll manage a varied general practice caseload, develop individualised treatment plans, educate clients and build lasting relationships with families while working collaboratively with the wider clinical team. The hospital places importance on high-quality medicine and Fear Free principles, with continued professional development encouraged as doctors develop their clinical skills and interests.

Practice Details
The hospital is a busy six-doctor, AAHA accredited and Cat Friendly practice supported by an experienced team that includes seven Registered Veterinary Technicians. Clinical facilities include digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound and a dedicated surgical suite equipped with electrocautery, alongside therapeutic laser capabilities. The combination of experienced doctors, seasoned support staff and modern equipment provides a strong clinical environment for delivering high-quality small animal medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
