Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital and is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice provides comprehensive small animal veterinary care, supporting a mix of wellness and sick patients within a collaborative, well-equipped clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with Saturday hours from 8:00am to 2:00pm. The role is full-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality veterinary care across wellness and sick appointments, with dedicated surgery days included in the caseload. Clinical responsibilities include preventative care, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, anesthesia, pain management, and soft tissue surgery. The role supports the use of advanced diagnostic and treatment tools and emphasizes collaboration, client communication, and high medical standards. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and Fear Free certified, operating from a state-of-the-art facility designed to support modern veterinary medicine. Equipment and capabilities include ultrasound, K-Laser therapy, digital radiography, dental radiography, EKG, tonometry, in-house laboratory services, an in-house pharmacy, and an on-site surgical suite. Services offered include advanced care, dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, general and routine surgery, dentistry and periodontics, urology, geriatric medicine, wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, and euthanasia services. The practice culture prioritizes collaboration, support, and delivering world-class care.

Team
The veterinary team consists of two DVMs supported by a dedicated and collaborative support staff. The environment is mentoring-focused and team-oriented, with an emphasis on shared learning and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
