Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Veterinarian. The practice is a full-service small animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, advanced care, and urgent care services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Sunday. This position is offered on a full-time basis and specific hours are flexible and open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal medical care, including wellness and preventative services, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care cases during regular business hours. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgical procedures, prescribing medications, and educating clients on treatment plans and preventive care. The role involves collaborating closely with the clinical and support teams to uphold a high standard of patient care. Practice Details
The hospital is equipped to deliver a broad scope of small animal services, including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, dermatology, behavioral therapy, and hospice care. Diagnostic capabilities include radiography, ultrasound, ECG, tonometry, and in-house laboratory testing. Surgical services include spay and neuter, dental surgery, soft tissue surgery, mass removal, laser surgery, and anesthesia-supported procedures. Additional services include grooming and bathing. The practice culture emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and advanced patient care supported by experienced clinical staff.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
