Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian within a small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care to dogs and cats and is focused on delivering high-quality medicine within a positive, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care across a range of services including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. The role involves managing cases from consultation through to treatment, performing procedures, and providing clear client education on preventive care and treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include working closely with the wider team to maintain a positive culture and high clinical standards. The position is suited to a veterinarian dedicated to providing excellent patient care and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The practice offers a wide range of services including wellness exams, dental care, parasite prevention, vaccinations, surgery, diagnostic testing, advanced diagnostic imaging, microchipping, spay and neuter procedures, dermatology, nutrition, acupuncture, laser therapy, end-of-life care, grooming, and boarding. Diagnostic capabilities include blood panels, urinalysis, fecal testing, digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring. The hospital supports a broad caseload with access to modern diagnostic tools and a focus on comprehensive patient care.
Team
The team consists of 6 veterinarians supported by a collaborative and supportive staff. The environment is described as positive and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on professional growth, development, and maintaining high standards of care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
