Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, ranging from routine wellness to complex medical cases, and is committed to delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care.

Working Hours / Rota
The current hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and closed on Sundays. The position can be full-time or part-time, and some weekend work is required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes delivering clinical care across wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and the broad range of services offered. The practice provides care from routine to advanced cases and supports a high standard of veterinary excellence.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and equipped with the latest veterinary technology, ranging from digital radiography to ultrasound, as well as hands-free radiology techniques and Fear Free approaches when possible. Available services include advanced dental care, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, digital radiology, ultrasound, EKG, OFA X-rays, tonopen, endoscopy, acupuncture, allergy and dermatology support, anesthesia, dental care including dental X-rays, DNA breed testing, ear checks, euthanasia services, general surgery, geriatric medicine, health certificates and exams, hospice care, hospitalization, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, in-office surgical suite, internal medicine, isolation ward, oxygen and transfusion therapy, pain management, radiology, routine surgeries, spays and neuters.

Team
The hospital is staffed by six DVMs and twelve support staff, including two RVTs, creating a supportive and collaborative work environment with a dynamic and skilled professional team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
