Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital seeking a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload, delivering preventative care, performing soft tissue surgeries, and maintaining strong client communication. The role also involves working collaboratively with a supportive team while upholding high medical standards. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is an AAHA-accredited hospital with a beautifully remodeled facility and up-to-date equipment. The practice utilizes hands-free radiology and incorporates fear-free techniques where possible. Services include preventive care, wellness exams, diagnostic testing, internal medicine, dental care, soft tissue surgery, anesthesia, pain management, and intensive care. The hospital is equipped with in-house laboratory and pharmacy services, an in-office surgical suite, and isolation capabilities, supporting a high standard of patient care within a collaborative environment.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment focused on delivering excellent patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
