Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and preventative care. The role involves managing a varied caseload, performing soft tissue surgeries, and delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining strong client communication. The position also includes collaboration with a supportive team to ensure efficient workflows and excellent medical standards. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital operates seven days a week from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. It is equipped with modern technology including a new X-ray machine, ultrasound, dental radiography, anesthesia machines, and two fully functioning surgical suites. Additional facilities include an ICU/CCU room and an isolation room. The practice offers a wide range of services including preventive care, wellness exams, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, dental care, general and soft tissue surgery, laser therapy, and intensive care. The hospital emphasizes high-quality medicine supported by up-to-date equipment and a collaborative working environment.
Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment focused on delivering excellent patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
