Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing advanced veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This modern facility delivers high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment, offering a wide range of services to companion animals.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Sundays. The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility, with weekend coverage required as part of standard opening hours. There are no after-hours requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will diagnose and treat diseases and injuries, prescribe medications, perform surgeries, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Responsibilities include delivering preventative care, urgent care, surgical and dental procedures, and educating clients on treatment options, nutrition, and overall pet health. The role also involves working collaboratively with the veterinary team and maintaining high clinical standards. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is a state-of-the-art hospital equipped with advanced veterinary technology, including digital imaging, minimally invasive surgical capabilities, and laser therapies. The practice offers a comprehensive range of services including urgent care, wellness exams, diagnostics, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, spays and neuters, end-of-life care, and sick visits, as well as an on-site pharmacy. The hospital emphasizes innovation, continuous learning, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care within a supportive and collaborative culture.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and growth-focused working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
