Job Description

Introduction
A well-established, three-doctor small animal practice in Longmont, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. The hospital is known for its relationship-focused approach to care, combining high-quality medicine with a supportive, communicative culture where ideas are shared openly and veterinarians are trusted to practice in a way that aligns with their strengths and interests.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday mornings, with Sundays closed, offering a consistent schedule with flexibility built in to support a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering comprehensive small animal care across preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery, with a strong emphasis on clinical reasoning, case continuity, and client communication, alongside collaborating with colleagues to maintain high clinical standards and contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.

This is a well-established general practice offering a full range of services including routine care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery, with a strong focus on client education and continuity of care, supported by an efficient workflow that allows veterinarians to practice thoroughly without unnecessary pressure.

You will be joining a close-knit team of veterinarians and experienced support staff who value collaboration, open discussion, and shared learning, creating an environment where clinicians feel supported, trusted, and able to develop their individual clinical interests.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
