Job Description
Introduction
An AAHA accredited small animal hospital in Lone Tree, Colorado is seeking a part time Associate Veterinarian to join its modern and growing veterinary team. The practice is known for its strong focus on preventive medicine and high quality patient care within a welcoming neighborhood setting. This opportunity is well suited to a veterinarian looking for a collaborative environment where modern technology and supportive teamwork allow for excellent clinical standards.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. This position is part time with a schedule of approximately two days per week, offering flexibility while maintaining continuity of care for patients and clients.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include guiding patient care from consultation through treatment, maintaining accurate medical records, communicating clearly with clients and collaborating with the veterinary team to support high clinical standards.

This AAHA accredited hospital provides a broad range of services including preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, nutritional counselling and urgent care. The facility is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including ultrasound, digital radiography and dental radiography, an in house laboratory suite and advanced anesthesia monitoring systems to support safe and effective patient care.

The hospital is supported by a collaborative veterinary team alongside experienced technicians and dedicated support staff who work together to provide consistent, high quality care for their patients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
