Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides both General Practice and Urgent Care services and is known for its approachable, supportive culture and commitment to the well-being of pets and their people. The hospital is looking for a passionate veterinarian who shares these values.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to midnight and on Saturday from 10:00 am to midnight. It is closed on Sundays. They are open to discussing schedules.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver both routine and urgent care services within a state-of-the-art environment. Supported by a team trained in all aspects of care, the role involves providing high-quality medical attention across a range of clinical presentations, utilizing modern tools and diagnostics.

The hospital features top-of-the-line equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, and an in-house laboratory. Recent renovations reflect a strong commitment to maintaining a modern, high-quality facility. The practice supports a varied caseload and operates with a progressive and upbeat approach to medicine, emphasizing both quality of service and work-life balance.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
