Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The hospital provides comprehensive care for cats and dogs and has an established and respected presence within its community. This opportunity offers the chance to practise high-quality medicine within an AAHA-accredited hospital, working across a diverse medical and surgical caseload while contributing to the continued growth and future direction of the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality veterinary medicine across a varied small animal caseload while developing strong, lasting relationships with clients. The role will involve promoting medical excellence and high standards of patient care while working collaboratively with the wider hospital team and contributing to a positive hospital culture. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both patient care and the continued growth of the hospital.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., remaining closed on Sundays. The AAHA-accredited practice provides a comprehensive range of small animal services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, therapeutic laser treatment, boarding, and grooming. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities including ultrasound, digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, and an in-house laboratory. The practice has an established presence within its community and offers a diverse medical and surgical caseload, alongside the opportunity for the incoming veterinarian to contribute to the future direction and growth of the hospital.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a team of two DVMs supported by a strong hospital support team. The practice promotes a positive and collaborative culture, with the wider team working together to provide high-quality patient care and client service.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
