Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal hospital with a welcoming, team-oriented environment and a strong focus on mentorship and work-life balance. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates, offering the chance to grow within a supportive and collaborative setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The clinic is open on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. The role offers both full-time and part-time options, with a fixed four-day work week, rotating half-day Saturdays, and no on-call requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing comprehensive veterinary care including general medicine, surgery, and dentistry, alongside diagnostics and preventative care. You will work closely with a supportive team to deliver high-quality patient care while building strong client relationships. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a structured mentorship program available to support clinical and professional development.

Practice Details
The practice offers a range of services including pet surgery, digital X-ray, dentistry, lab work, and behavioral consulting. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic tools and supports a high standard of care through a collaborative and relaxed working environment. The clinic emphasizes work-life balance, professional growth, and medical autonomy, with strong support for continuing education and development.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by certified veterinary technicians and an experienced practice manager, working together in a cohesive and collaborative environment with a 1:1 doctor-to-technician ratio.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
