Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their five-doctor team. This well-established clinic is known for delivering high-quality, individualized care to canine and feline patients while maintaining a collaborative, Fear Free-certified environment. The practice regularly receives referrals from surrounding clinics due to its strong reputation and diagnostic capabilities.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full time role. The practice is open 7am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 3pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide personalized care to dogs and cats, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to a low-stress, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include general practice medicine, with opportunities to explore areas of interest such as ultrasound, acupuncture, or exotic animal care. This role is open to experienced veterinarians. An interest in Fear Free techniques is preferred.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, surgical laser, EKG, and in-house diagnostics to support a full range of patient care services. It is AAHA-accredited and places a strong emphasis on Fear Free practices. The caseload is diverse, and the clinic supports professional development through access to advanced tools and referral collaboration.

Team
The practice consists of five DVMs supported by skilled, licensed technicians. The environment is highly collaborative and mentoring-focused, fostering continuous learning and professional growth for veterinarians at all career stages.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
