Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a long-established animal hospital based in Lillington, North Carolina, seeking an experienced and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The hospital is a full-service small animal facility that provides high-quality, compassionate care to its patients and has built a strong reputation within the local community.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a four-day workweek and one rotating Saturday shift per month. The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The hospital also opens briefly on Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for boarding pick-ups only.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care to small animal patients, focusing on preventive medicine, wellness, and surgery. The hospital is looking for a veterinarian with at least three years of experience who is committed to delivering exceptional medical care and building trusted relationships with clients. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine are key to success in this role.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped to support a wide range of medical and surgical services. Available services include cold laser therapy, acupuncture, anesthesia and patient monitoring, preventive care, wellness exams, and surgery. The hospital has a proud history of serving the community since 1985 and maintains a positive, team-oriented culture that values both professional development and personal well-being. Team
The current team includes three veterinarians supported by a brilliant and dedicated group of support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
