Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a progressive small animal hospital in the northwest Atlanta metro area seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The practice is dedicated to providing exceptional care to cats and dogs while supporting doctors with a collaborative, community-driven culture.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm. It is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload, including wellness, preventive care, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care cases. Clinical responsibilities include diagnostics, client education, behavior consultations, internal medicine, radiology, and pain management. The role is suitable for veterinarians who enjoy collaboration and relationship-building and is open to both experienced doctors and new graduates seeking mentorship.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, surgical facilities, and a wide range of modern diagnostic and treatment tools. Services include routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, spay/neuter, surgery, internal medicine, urgent care, nutrition, pain management, behavior support, and end-of-life care. The culture is compassionate, supportive, and designed to deliver progressive medicine with a strong focus on enhancing the human-animal bond.
Team
The practice has 3 veterinarians supported by a brilliant team of trained support staff. The environment is collaborative, client-focused, and committed to creating a positive workplace for both doctors and staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
