Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service companion animal and exotics care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-supported team. This AAHA-accredited practice delivers comprehensive medical services across a diverse caseload in a collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with Sunday closed. The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility with flexible shifts available. Additional after-hours requirements are not specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage both sick and wellness cases, providing high-quality preventative and medical care. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, performing medical and surgical procedures, and delivering individualized care across a varied caseload. The role emphasizes collaboration, client communication, and maintaining high clinical standards. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA-accredited hospital equipped with advanced technology including in-house laboratory, digital radiology, dental radiology, endoscopy, laser surgery, and ultrasonography. The practice provides a wide range of services including preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dental care, imaging, pain management, and wellness programs. The hospital treats a variety of species including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and small mammals, and focuses on delivering individualized care and high-quality medicine supported by modern facilities and equipment.

Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and well-supported working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
