Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice providing veterinary care for cats and dogs. They are looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. Doctor hours are open to discussion, allowing flexibility around the successful candidate’s schedule. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is well equipped and offers a full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. Current hospital opening hours, which are subject to change, are Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The practice is currently closed on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Team
The practice currently has one DVM who is supported by a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
