Introduction
Our client is a companion animal practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and has been serving the local community for decades. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those starting their careers.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide medical care for companion animals with a focus on preventative medicine, wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. The role includes working closely with clients to develop treatment plans and maintain strong relationships built on trust and communication. Veterinarians are supported by a strong technical team, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with structured mentorship available for those seeking additional guidance and professional development.

Practice Details
The practice focuses exclusively on dogs and cats and offers a broad range of primary care and advanced veterinary services. Services include dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, dentistry, dental radiography, general surgery, soft tissue surgery, routine surgical procedures, anesthesia, geriatric medicine, pain management, urology, radiology, allergy and itchy skin relief, health examinations, euthanasia services, pet loss support, and periodontics. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, in-office surgical suite, and isolation ward. Advanced diagnostic capabilities include digital radiology and ultrasound. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on weekends. Veterinarians benefit from a concierge-style support model with two technicians for every veterinarian and access to veterinary scribe support.

Team
The practice is staffed by 2 veterinarians and a highly experienced support team. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, professional growth, and delivering exceptional patient care. New graduates receive dedicated support and guidance as they transition into practice.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
