Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join its team on a full-time basis. The hospital provides routine, diagnostic, and complex veterinary care, with a focus on high standards of patient care and client experience. The position offers clinical autonomy alongside flexible scheduling, open time off, and no on-call shifts.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality veterinary medicine while building relationships with pet parents and approaching client interactions with respect and empathy. The role encompasses routine, diagnostic, and complex procedures, including radiographs, ultrasounds, dental extractions and prophylaxis, spays and neuters, abdominal exploratory procedures, and mass removals. The veterinarian will also provide routine wellness care, vaccinations and microchipping, care for illness and injury, imaging, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. The position provides the freedom to practice autonomous medicine while continuing to develop clinically through paid continuing education and training. This opportunity is for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with cloud-based practice management and medical records software, digital and dental X-ray, IDEXX technology, a Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, a VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler Blood Pressure System, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. These resources support routine, diagnostic, and complex veterinary care, including radiography, ultrasound, dentistry, surgery, preventive medicine, vaccinations, microchipping, illness and injury care, imaging, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and is closed Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Team
The Associate Veterinarian will work alongside licensed and trained veterinary technicians and assistants, with additional support from local medical directors. The hospital promotes a supportive, respectful, and collaborative working environment focused on clinical development, high-quality patient care, and continued learning.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
