Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a full-service general practice providing high-quality care across a wide range of services, seeking a veterinarian to join a modern, well-equipped facility with a strong focus on excellence in patient care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. The position offers flexibility with full-time, part-time, or relief options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and behavioral case management. You will work across a varied caseload with opportunities to develop skills in both routine and complex procedures. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available. There is also the opportunity to gain experience or further develop skills in exotic pet medicine.

This is a well-established, full-service general practice with a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility and a long-standing reputation for high-quality veterinary medicine since 1990. The hospital is AAHA accredited and offers a wide range of services including preventative and wellness care, surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, behavioral counseling, diagnostics, grooming, and urgent care. The practice emphasizes client education, advanced medical care, and a friendly, compassionate environment supported by modern equipment and knowledgeable staff.
Team
The team consists of 7 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
