Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. This opportunity is open on either a full-time or part-time basis and involves working with cats and dogs in a well-established GP environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, including preventative care, wellness exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry and client communication. The role also offers exposure to orthopedics. Doctor hours are open to discussion, allowing flexibility for the right candidate. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The practice operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The hospital is a well-equipped, state-of-the-art, 15,000 sq ft small animal veterinary practice offering a full range of GP services alongside orthopedic services.
Team
The hospital currently has a team of 6 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, creating a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
