Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking to hire a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic sees cats and dogs, with scope to expand into exotics for a doctor with interest in this area.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including a mix of clinical duties such as wellness exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an opportunity to develop or further enhance clinical skills in a supportive setting.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on weekends. It is equipped with dental and full body digital X-ray, ultrasound, orthopedic equipment, and cold laser technology. The facility includes three exam rooms and a comfort room and is AAHA-accredited. The practice offers a full scope of GP services, including orthopedics and both traditional and integrative veterinary medicine, such as stem cell therapy, herbal medicine, acupuncture, chiropractic treatments, and laser therapy. The environment is fast-paced and supportive.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, contributing to a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
