Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive wellness, diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for companion animals while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, providing preventative care, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, educating clients, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive, team-focused culture where both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcomed and supported.
Practice Details
This small animal hospital has been providing compassionate veterinary care to the Laurel and Jones County community since 1972. The practice offers a broad range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, boarding, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counselling, urgent care, laser therapy, and hospice care. The hospital is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine in a supportive environment where continuing education is encouraged and work-life balance is respected. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and the practice is closed on weekends.

The hospital is supported by a team of 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The collaborative, team-driven environment encourages mentorship, professional growth, and open communication, ensuring veterinarians have the support they need to provide outstanding patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
