An AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team, working closely alongside the Medical Director. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. Full-time is preferred, though part-time options are available. Doctors can choose between 8- or 10-hour shifts, with a rotating Saturday schedule. The structured hours provide consistency while maintaining flexibility within the team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will deliver comprehensive medical care to canine and feline patients, managing a varied caseload that ranges from routine wellness visits to more complex medical cases. You will collaborate closely with the Medical Director and support team to ensure high standards of patient care, client communication, and medical documentation. The role involves performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and conducting soft tissue procedures in line with hospital protocols.
