Job Description
Introduction
This established small animal and exotics hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team of two veterinarians. With over 30 years of serving the local community, the practice has built a loyal client base while continuing to welcome a high volume of new clients each week. Offering care for dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, poultry, and ferrets, the hospital combines high-quality general practice medicine with urgent care and emergency surgery in a supportive, progressive environment. The hospital is open Monday to Saturday, with Sundays closed to support a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a varied companion animal and exotic caseload, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care cases. You’ll typically see 15–20 appointments per day while working alongside experienced technicians and support staff who enable you to focus on delivering excellent patient care. The role also offers opportunities to perform emergency surgeries, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to a collaborative team that values mentorship, clinical autonomy, and continuous professional development.

This modern veterinary hospital is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, surgical laser technology, and a range of advanced diagnostic equipment to support high-quality patient care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
