Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice is a long-established, full-service small animal hospital that has supported its local community for decades, delivering high-quality medicine within a modern, recently renovated facility. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated support available.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive general practice care across a varied small animal caseload. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, anesthesia, dentistry with dental radiography, soft tissue surgery, spays and neuters, pain management, geriatric medicine, hospitalization care, emergency and urgent care support, and euthanasia services when required. The role also involves diagnostic workups, client communication, and collaboration with a highly experienced support team. This position is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship and clinical development.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a newly renovated, state-of-the-art building with six exam rooms, a large treatment area, and separate surgery and dental suites. Equipment includes digital radiography including dental x-ray, tonometry, advanced anesthesia monitoring with Cardell CO₂ monitoring systems, and therapeutic laser capabilities. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, in-office surgical suite, intensive care and isolation wards, oxygen and transfusion therapy, and hospitalization areas. Services offered span primary care, dentistry, elective and routine surgeries, diagnostic imaging, bloodwork, acupuncture, wellness testing, and preventive medicine. The practice is American Animal Hospital Association accredited and is known for excellent pain management and recovery protocols.

Team
The veterinary team consists of two DVMs supported by a great and long-tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative and mentoring-focused, with strong staff retention and a culture of mutual support and shared clinical standards.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
