Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for an experienced veterinarian looking to practice in a collaborative, community-focused small animal hospital. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals while managing a varied caseload of wellness, preventative, urgent care, and surgical cases. Responsibilities include performing routine surgeries, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and building lasting relationships with clients through compassionate communication. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care while contributing to a positive, supportive practice culture. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This well-established rural small animal hospital has been serving Stanly County and the surrounding communities since 2006. The practice is committed to providing high-quality medical and surgical care through a community-focused approach while fostering strong relationships with local pet owners. The hospital features advanced equipment including laser therapy, ultrasound, digital radiography, an in-house laboratory for CBC and chemistry testing, and a dedicated dental suite with full-mouth dental radiography. Services include pet wellness examinations, vaccinations, urgent care, elective surgeries including spays and neuters, in-house laboratory testing, digital radiography, puppy and litter care including deworming and tail docking, laser therapy, heartworm diagnosis and treatment, and canine and feline dentistry. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, supporting an excellent work-life balance.

The hospital is supported by a team of three DVMs and a great tenured support staff who work together in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
