Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. Established in 1980, the practice provides comprehensive small animal care and combines traditional and modern veterinary medicine. The hospital sees a broad range of canine and feline cases and focuses on delivering individualized, high-quality and compassionate care while building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care across a varied small animal caseload including wellness and preventative medicine, sick visits, internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgery. Doctors have opportunities to manage more advanced cases using the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities and technology, while strong referral relationships with local emergency and specialty hospitals provide additional support when required. The full-time schedule offers flexibility and typically consists of weekday daytime shifts with rotating Saturdays, with no on-call or overnight responsibilities.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The facility includes a full in-house laboratory with access to an external reference laboratory, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, Tonopen, therapeutic laser, a dedicated surgical suite, an in-house pharmacy, paperless medical records, and an online pharmacy. Services include wellness and preventative care, primary and internal medicine, adult and senior care, dermatology, dentistry and advanced dental care, diagnostics, general and soft tissue surgery, emergency care, hospitalization, pain management, hospice and euthanasia care, health certificates, and management of canine and feline diabetes. The practice has a client base that values preventative medicine and maintains strong referral relationships with local emergency and specialty hospitals.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs supported by six Registered Veterinary Technicians, experienced veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Doctors practice individualized medicine while collaborating closely and sharing their knowledge and expertise. The experienced technical team supports patient care and allows veterinarians to focus on medical decision-making, while the wider culture emphasizes collaboration, compassionate care, continued learning, and work-life balance.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
