Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal practice in Lakewood, Ohio, seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic cares for dogs and cats and offers a mix of traditional and modern veterinary medicine. The practice is part of a larger network, providing access to extensive resources while maintaining a supportive, community-focused environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday, and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. The clinic is closed on Sundays. The position is full-time, with flexibility in scheduling and no on-call or overnight responsibilities, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including wellness exams, preventive care, soft tissue and general surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, dermatology, and internal medicine. Clinical responsibilities include advanced diagnostics, pain management, and management of complex cases. The role allows for practicing individualized medicine with full medical autonomy and is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with a full in-house laboratory, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, tonopen, therapeutic laser, and a dedicated surgical suite. Facilities also include an in-house pharmacy and paperless medical records system. Services offered encompass primary and preventive care, advanced care, emergency care, anesthesia, soft tissue and dental surgery, hospice and euthanasia, vaccination and parasite control, diagnostics, and specialized treatments for conditions such as diabetes and orthopedic issues. Team
The veterinary team comprises four DVMs supported by six Registered Veterinary Technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
