Job Description
Introduction
This established small animal hospital in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team of four veterinarians. Serving the local community since 1969, the practice has built a reputation for delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine while offering a collaborative environment where doctors are supported to develop their clinical interests. Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats while building long-term relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, perform preventative care, dentistry, and surgery, develop treatment plans, and work closely with the wider clinical team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate on more advanced cases with access to specialist diagnostic support.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Established in 1969, the practice provides comprehensive small animal medicine including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, emergency care, and advanced medical services. You’ll work alongside four experienced veterinarians with support from a partnered board-certified Radiology Specialist (DACVR), allowing the team to manage complex diagnostic cases while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

You’ll join a collaborative team of four veterinarians supported by experienced technicians, support staff, and a partnered Radiology Specialist. The hospital promotes a culture of teamwork, open communication, and continuous professional development, creating an environment where veterinarians are encouraged to learn from one another while delivering exceptional care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
