Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Lakeland and is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and provides comprehensive veterinary care focused on supporting patients throughout every stage of life while building lasting relationships with clients.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care across a varied caseload, including wellness examinations, vaccinations, preventive dental care, dental surgery, spay and neuter procedures, general surgery, ultrasound, allergy testing, and emergency care. The role involves delivering high-quality medicine, communicating clearly with clients, and supporting the ongoing health and well-being of patients. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital provides a full range of veterinary services including preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, emergency care, ultrasound, allergy testing, and behavioral training and support. The hospital is committed to high-quality medicine, clear communication, and a positive client experience. Opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
