Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is hiring for a part-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital sees cats and dogs and offers veterinary services focused on preventive care, diagnostics, and everyday pet health within a collaborative clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities within a supportive and patient-focused clinical setting. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, diagnostics, and client communication across a varied caseload. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, is closed on Wednesdays, and closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, ultrasound and digital X-ray technology. The practice also features heated hydraulic surgery tables and DDXR equipment, supporting a well-equipped clinical environment. Services offered include a full scope of general practice services focused on preventive medicine, diagnostics, and patient care. In addition, the hospital also provides pet grooming.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
