Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice serving the Lake Park and greater Valdosta community. The hospital offers a welcoming, family-run feel and is dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Working Hours / Rota
This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care to companion animals, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, performing surgical procedures, and delivering dental care. The role also includes wellness examinations, preventative care, and urgent care cases. Veterinarians will work closely with the support team to develop treatment plans, communicate with pet owners, and maintain high standards of patient care within a collaborative clinical environment. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

The hospital is a general practice small animal clinic that has served the Lake Park community since 1984. The facility is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, and a dedicated surgery suite. Services offered include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, illness and injury treatment, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, microchipping, and pet surgery. Additional services include boarding and daycare, pharmacy services, and medical grooming. The clinic is known for its strong reputation in the community and has earned 450+ five-star reviews. The team culture is close-knit and collaborative, supported by experienced staff with long tenures.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
