Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join its team. The practice focuses on small animal medicine and provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, alongside services for exotic pets, pocket pets and rabbits. The hospital combines preventative medicine with advanced diagnostics, urgent care, orthopedics and surgery within a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care and client communication.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a varied caseload, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, pain management, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, exotic and pocket pet medicine, and urgent care. Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, and communicating clearly with clients regarding findings and treatment options. Surgical capabilities include spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, CCL repair, TPLO surgery, laparoscopic surgery, orthopedic surgery, dental surgery and cystotomy. The role also involves managing urgent cases and hospitalized patients during regular business hours while collaborating closely with the wider veterinary and support team. A DVM degree and valid state veterinary license in good standing are required.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The practice is AAHA accredited and offers advanced diagnostic capabilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, laboratory testing and access to specialist radiology and ophthalmology consultation. Services include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, diagnostics, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, rehabilitation, acupuncture, laser therapy, behavior therapy, exotic and pocket pet medicine, surgery and urgent care. During regular business hours, the hospital provides emergency evaluation, stabilization, hospitalization and urgent medical treatment. Additional services include boarding and grooming.

Team
The hospital has eleven DVMs supported by a collaborative paraprofessional team. The practice emphasizes teamwork, communication, professional development and high clinical standards, with veterinarians able to collaborate on complex cases and access additional specialist input when required. The wider support structure also provides continuing education and career development resources for veterinarians looking to expand their clinical skills or pursue future areas of specialization or leadership.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
