Introduction
This established small animal hospital in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its eight-doctor team. Serving the community since 2001, the practice provides comprehensive veterinary medicine spanning preventative care, advanced diagnostics, surgery and urgent care. The hospital has recently relocated into a new and improved facility, providing a modern environment for veterinarians looking for a broad clinical caseload alongside an experienced team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:30am to 3:00pm, with Sundays closed. The position is full-time, with the hospital’s extended opening hours supporting scheduled general practice appointments alongside urgent care cases.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive small animal medicine across wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, medical case management, surgery and urgent presentations. You’ll have autonomy over your cases while collaborating closely with an experienced veterinary and support team, developing long-term client relationships and clearly communicating diagnoses and treatment options. The broad caseload provides opportunities to strengthen your skills across different areas of medicine, with continuing education and professional development available to support your individual clinical interests.

Practice Details
The hospital currently has eight veterinarians and has served the Lafayette community for more than 20 years. Its recently relocated facility supports a wide range of services including wellness and preventative medicine, advanced testing and diagnostics, surgical procedures and urgent care, giving doctors exposure to both routine and more complex cases. The practice places a strong emphasis on collaboration, continued learning and clinical development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
