Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice offers a diverse caseload including companion animals and exotics, supported by advanced technology and a collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality care across a varied caseload, including diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgical procedures, and providing preventative and wellness care. The role includes managing cases, communicating with clients, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is a well-equipped hospital offering services for dogs, cats, and exotics including rabbits, guinea pigs, pocket pets, avian species, reptiles, and wildlife. The facility is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, EMR systems, and cold or therapeutic lasers, alongside offering acupuncture and chiropractic services. Services include diagnostic imaging, dermatology, echocardiography, endoscopy, ophthalmology, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, preventive care, dentistry, internal medicine, hospitalization, intensive care, and routine surgical procedures. The practice supports a varied and interesting caseload with opportunities to work across multiple species.

The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
