Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice that has been operating since 1981, with an excellent Google rating of 4.8 stars. The clinic provides care for cats, dogs, and pocket pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and ferrets. They are seeking a veterinarian who can join their established team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including a variety of medical, surgical, and preventative care duties. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with no weekend requirements. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, making it suitable for candidates at different stages of their career.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on weekends. It is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a tonopen, among other tools. Services offered include the full scope of GP services, urgent care, laser therapy, and cryotherapy, alongside additional offerings such as pet boarding and pet hospice.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a well tenured group of support staff, fostering a stable and collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
